JYSK is the largest internationally operating Danish retailer. In total, the company has over 2,500 stores and 21,000+ employees across 48 countries. /Archive has supported their eCommerce and brick and mortar business in Canada for four years now.

/The Problem

Dissatisfied with lack of measurability they were getting via traditional media and advertising

eCommerce business wasn’t growing fast enough after an expensive redevelopment

Overall low brand visibility in Canada

JYSK Canada was not meeting their overall business growth goals

/The Action

We optimized elements of their site for organic search (ongoing), allowing JYSK to stand out more when potential customers searched for items on sale.

We properly placed and configured tracking pixels across JYSK.ca using Google Tag Manager to accurately monitor effectiveness and of campaigns and RoAS impact.

We introduced multiple demand-generation campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Google and YouTube making JYSK Canada further standout online against their competitors.

We optimized their Google Analytics instance to better monitor new customer inquiries and user behaviour on-site. This allowed both /Archive and JYSK Canada to further collaborate on making better, more informed business decisions in digital marketing and budget allocation management.

We initiated quarterly Conversion Rate Optimization sprints on both JYSK.ca and all ad campaigns across every medium.

We merged customer email databases with Ads platforms for cross-channel remarketing and lookalike audience targeting. This allowed JYSK to stay top-of-mind with current and newly qualified customers, and generate more engagement with new users with similar browsing habits and interests online.

/The Results

First two months, the campaigns we put in place were generating the highest sources for returning NEW customers to the site.

Improved Google Quality Score of JYSK Canada ads, saving the client 40-50% on all CPC, representing thousands of dollars / month in savings.

Our campaigns attributed to over 35% to new and returning users to the site 3 months after launch.

Ability to attribute online leads to in-store visits using geo-targeting attribution with Google.

40-55% growth in annual sales, YoY since 2015.
